  • We received bids from 4 different landscapers when we recently built our new home in Windgate in Scottsdale. Two of the landscapers we received bids from were "preferred" by our builder, which basically meant that they could start working on our pool and landscaping while our home was being built versus after the close. We found so many good reviews on Blooming Desert and loved what we saw on the website, so we decided to give them a call. From the very first meeting, it was clear that this was a company that listened to its customers and understood thoughtful design. They clearly separated themselves from the three other companies by delivering a bid that met our budget targets and addressed all of our priorities along with beautiful design. Lindy spent a ton of time with us going through the designs, without pushing us to purchase things we didn't need. She handled our HOA submission and got it approved on the first try!!! That does not happen with this community. The pool build team was led by Roy who was equally helpful. He helped walk us through some final options that actually ended up lowering the cost of the pool and made it more user friendly than what we had originally selected. He walked us through build process and was very present throughout the process. He stayed on top of the crews to make sure our worksite was clean and well maintained during the project. He was very available and responsive the whole time. I also can't say enough about Joe and the landscaping crew. They started the days early and worked long to try and finish quickly. They kept our site very clean, including all of the stone and supplies outside of our home. Everyone who worked on our home was courteous and respectful and worked with us to make changes and modifications after the installation began. We have received a lot of feedback from our neighbors on how well our crew kept our home and the quality of our install. Now that the installation is complete, Bill from Customer Service has been fantastic. Very responsive to our issues, including some problems that we created ourselves. We have dealt with many contractors building our new home and unfortunately, the majority have been disappointing at best. We couldn't be happier with Blooming Desert and would recommend them to anyone who asks.
