  • I am giving this store three stars simply because I didn't end up finding my dream dress here, but not really due to service issues. A colleague had bought her dress here and it came highly recommended so I decided I had to include Danforth in my search (been to Davids Bridal (scar), Windsor, and Spadina area). I made a fairly prompt appointment for a weekday evening as I know how these stores get crazy on the weekends and got a usual 1hr spot in the evening. I arrived on time and had a bridal consultant Nozomi helping me out. I told her my budget was on the low end - under $1600. This limited the choices as it is a higher end boutique. I tried on 4 dresses - 2 were available for purchase as samples, and the other 2 would have to be custom ordered. The dresses were all beautiful and fit really nicely. I am into the mermaid style and seem to fit size 10-12 sample qowns perfectly - the consultant was surprised. I tried on a satin mermaid gown which was gorgeous, fit so well, but I am not a fan of satin. There was also a lace one that fit really beautifully (about $1,699) and she added a bling belt (about $460) to give that extra umphh. In the end, though my friend was gushing about all the dresses, especially the lace dress, I just didn't get that "special feeling", and for $1,600 and up, I better FEEL IT!. The appointment ended with a card with the details. Overall, I didn't feel pressured, I was the only bride-to-be there so it was a lovely calm boutique experience. I would recommend it if you have a bigger budget.
