  • I came here with my husband because we bought the City Pass for Toronto. Once I found out that Casa Loma has been in several movies, including X-Men, I knew I'd want to check it out. Casa Loma is truly magnificent. I will say that I enjoyed the outside more than the inside. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the structure itself is incredible to see in person. On the inside, it was pretty OK. I'm not a huge museum person and a lot of Casa Loma involves furniture displays from last century. I did appreciate the military displays, as well as the old cars on display that are accessible through the 800 foot underground tunnel. I also enjoyed the video that is played in the basement detailing the history of Casa Loma. I would highly recommend coming right when Casa Loma opens. We were able to walk right in and we beat the heat, which truly can be unbearable as a lot of the rooms lack air conditioning. Other recommendations include picking up the audio device as it has some fun facts, as well as getting some pictures of the city from one of the towers. In sum, a beautiful place to visit, but I'm not sure if I would go back. Once was probably enough.
