Like most Whole Foods, prices are a little high for my tastes for everyday groceries -- but there is a wide selection of local and specially items. Beautiful store design with lots of wood, metal and concrete. Ample seating for the dining-in and coffee/juice bar crowd plus a regular bar/pub with outdoor patio seating and a pool table available for rental. For some reason, on-site beverage consumption seems a little off for Whole Foods, but shoppers now have that option here.
Expensive overall but I spotted a few good deals (Theo Chocolate bars were on sale for well below market average) and a wide variety of delicious looking fresh baked goods is available.
Although I doubt I will be a regular customer, it is great to have another quality Westerly option. It will be interesting to see how Lucky's compares if and when it actually opens at W. 117th and Clifton.
