  • Our new home had a few electrical issues...nothing big, but since the home warranty came with the house, why not use? I submitted the claim and got dispatched Sunbelt Electric. Of course the next thing I did was check Yelp for reviews. So, if you have read some of them, you can understand my apprehension. After playing phone tag with the receptionist, I scheduled an appointment. They could have gotten me in earlier, but I was not looking to miss work. The receptionist offered me a 7 AM appointment, which I took. So after contact, I had him here in 3 days at the time I wanted. I got the call ahead of time and who was it? Frank Santella. Ok, now after reading the reviews, again even more concerned. I have to be honest I was not expecting much, but was not going to make a decision until I met him and had dealt with him. As I have learned...lots of people Yelp restaurants, and many times are very reliable, but the service industry (plumbers, electricians, doctors, laundry, etc) are lacking. And I am sorry, you carry no weight with me when you have 3 friends and 1 or 2 reviews and shred someone...or give them 5 stars for that matter. First, Frank called when he was 15 mins out, and arrived right on time. He was nice and professional. Presented me with his business card and asked to see the issues. Showed him the problems. Told me up front, he did not think the warranty company would cover one of the three, but the other two would be easy fixes. He tackled the problems and was finished in about 30 mins. He called the home warranty company to inquire about the last repair. He was correct. Further, he even stressed to the company the importance of the company calling me to explain, to which they did. Frank knew his stuff, was friendly and honest. I went back and read reviews again. I get it is extremely frustrating when a homeowner has a problem they need fixed. It is even more frustrating when the home warranty company uses some BS reason to get out of paying for it to get fixed. But for goodness sake people, quit taking it out on the service guy. Frank is solid! Would call him and Sunbelt again in a second. Cannot go 5 stars because my limited issues did not allow me to see the full gamut of things they can fix.
