  • I was in need of some suit(s) and asked around about where to get one or some. A buddy told me to give Jos A Bank a shot. He informed me they sometimes had buy one, get one free sales. Armed with the information, I decided to check it out. I arrived on a Monday and spied a sign telling me if I bought one suit....I would get three suits...free! Inside the store I went and was greeted by Sha. He was a very nice man and seemed to know his trade very well. My body style does not make for an easy experience when I have to shop for any type of clothing. I shop for my size in the strange and not so accommodating world that lies between tall & fat and everything else. Sha did his best to fit me. Though I am sure he would liken it to trying to fit a card board box with a suit. I was unable to get a black suit I wanted because nothing could be found in my size either at the store or on the internet. I would eventually settle on four different suits. The jackets were easy. The pants not so much. But JAB does tailoring in-house. I was told the tailoring would take several weeks. I did need a suit for an event on Friday. I requested a rush on one. It was granted with no surcharge. On Friday, I was informed my suit was ready for pick-up. I needed some socks and picked up two pair that were on sale. The suit fit fine and I will keep my ear to ground for the sound of future sales.
