  • This is the second time that I've had issues with their service department. I do not recommend that anybody go to them.... EVER! The people there are just inept and all they care about is the upsell of stuff that you don't need. My 2013 Kia Forte Koup did not come with a spare tire or a jack. I was told it was not an option and that's why they offer roadside assistance. Woke up to a flat tire. Called RA and it took no less than 4 calls and 8 1/2 hours to get my car picked up. Only to find out I MUST take it to the dealership and I can't take it to a shop of my choice. Well with my previous bad experience, I didn't want my car to go back there, but had no choice. They tested the tire various ways, it ended up being fine. Not sure why it was flat. Either way, the service advisor called me when my car was ready to pick up the next day and informed me 1) My tires were bald by Kia standards (I'm a car-girl, they are not, and I know exactly when to buy new tires and told her so.) 2) My cabin air filters needed to be replaced (They had been replaced by my mechanic 7K miles ago, did they actually look at them?) and 3) My powersteering fluid is dirty (I'll give them the benefit on this one because I haven't looked yet). BUT and there's a big BUT - not at any time did she tell me that I have both brake lights out. The only light working is the one in the back window. Only discover this because I'm following my husband and he's driving my car. And they did do an inspection, she admitted it, and when I looked in the trunk the little door for the rear light assembly was open. They never, ever said anything about having two brake lights out. Apparently safety isn't as important as the upsell of stuff you don't need. Then the very next day I go out and the battery is dead. Are you seriously trying to tell me that they didn't even check the battery level on this "inspection"? They do every other time. I will never go back and I will never tell anybody to go there. For those of you that want to know about the previous issue I had there... My husband took his car there for an oil change and somehow during the oil change a screw ended up in the sidewall of one of his tires (I understand things happen) and it was sticking out. They circled it in yellow and wrote it on the inspection report, but sent him on his way home. With the screw sticking out of the side of the tire, they they put in there! When I called the service manager, he was very apologetic and they had the car towed back to the dealership and fixed it and offered a discount on future service. It doesn't change the fact that they do or don't do these inspections, and tell or don't tell you what you need to know. It's dangerous!
