I've been staying at Park MGM the past few times I came to Vegas and I'm a huge fan. They're still under construction though so don't be surprised if you hear some work being done in the mornings.
So the rooms: It's clean and modern. The bathroom is spacious. You will either get a cool standing shower with a glass door or a bathtub with a plastic curtain. The beds are soft but pretty low to the ground. There's no conventional desk for your laptop but a long couch by the window, or two chairs by the window, with a standing table serves to remedy this problem. Other than that, those are all your major furniture bits. It's very minimalistic which I can appreciate. The WiFi can be a little temperamental though.
There are little dining options in the hotel at the moment due to construction (minus snacks at Moneyline/sportsbook, Primrose, and Bavette's Steakhouse) but you're a short walk from The Park, New York New York, and Aria. These new renovations and restaurants opening this fall has potential though. I can't wait to see how this place ends up looking now that the T-Mobile Arena is next door and they house the Park Theater. They also have an AMAZING gin-based cocktail parlor downstair called Juniper Cocktail Lounge. It's now my favorite place for drinks!
They have some low table minimums so that's always a plus if you don't want to break the bank. Cocktail waitresses are always walking around.
Park MGM is a great central location on The Strip. Everything is within walking distance and if you're too lazy to walk, take the tram!
