  • Came here with friends to treat a night out. We'd had our reception her years ago and it's only improved. We went downstairs to the Speakeasy. Mallory was good, if a bit timid-mannered for a waitress at a jazz joint. Had shrimp and cheese grits with broccoli and a side of chili. Food was excellent. The chili came first and it was well spiced, hearty and tasty. Next was the main course. The colossal shrimp were seared perfectly and the deep green broccoli was full, fresh and tender. The main attraction was those velvety grits! An overall good time had by all and the band was good too!!
