  • DO NOT GO TO CHAPMAN FORD IN SCOTTSDALE!!! I was car shopping online and found 2010 Ford Explorer with very low miles for $17,999 and I immediatley sent an email to get more information on the vehicle Julie emailed me back and set an appointment with "tom" for that saturday (3/21/2015). I called that night to confirm my Saturday appointment to see the truck and spoke with Joe said yes we will have that vehicle pulled up when you get here and I asked if their was anything wrong with the truck and they said no, they have extensive check ups on the vehicle. I asked if that was the accurate milage because it was arounf 25k miles for a 2010 thats really low. They said yes it is. When I arrived the truck was no where in sight and Tom wasnt either. We parked in the used car side and they directed us to the to walk back to the new sales part. "Tom" Said he will go get the vehicle from the back as he walked us to the office and asked us to sit inside. I felt weird with how "tom" was acting. Me & my boyfriend wated and "tom " came back saying that they service department found something wrong with the truck and they could not sell me the truck. I said " why didnt i get a call, i made a long trip to see this vehicle and its not available? when i was told differently over the phone? and whats wrong with it? "Tom" said he couldnt say, Then a Slick "Joe" guy walked over and say "the transmission is slipping?" it appeared as if they were playing this sick shark game with us just to reee lme in. He said "im not tryin to sell you but i do have another vehicle the exact same kind. He asked what is your limit? i said 15K and he said i'' give it to you for 15,9K. My boyfriend immidiately said lets go babe. He tried to speak with my boyfriend and try to convince us to stay but we knew they were playing us and the feeling we got was unbareable! i wish i would of read the reviews before wasting my time. Trust me! they will play you and take advanTage of you if you go there. Good Luck car shopping!
