  • This is a tough one to review, because I have huge love for McDonalds Canada in general. Their coffee and their breakfasts are easily the best chain fast food coffee and breakfasts around. I like Tim's and Starbucks, but McDonalds breakfast produce trumps both of them hands down. Unfortunately, this location is a bit of a hellhole. My boyfriend and I were there at 10.30am on a Sunday, and even at that civilised time, we were the only customers there who were not clearly high on crack or meth. I say that with no exaggeration or irony. Some of the druggies were not even eating or drinking McDs, in fact one was drinking a Tims coffee while hiding away in the corner muttering to himself! Others were just loitering around inside the restaurant, not ordering anything. The staff were pretty unfriendly to us, but when I look at the customers they have to deal with, I can't really blame them. It must be frightening working in this location. They should really take cue from McDonalds in Europe and hire a security guard. Thankfully there are other McDonalds nearer to both my home and my work where I can get my delicious coffee and breakfast sandwich fix.
