We stopped here after we attempted to go to Chicken Lips (they were practically spilling out of the building they were so busy) for lunch on a Friday afternoon. I've been in here a few times but typically during the evening hours and never to eat. The bar was almost full and they had a couple of tables eating as well. We were barely in our seats at the bar when we were greeted by a super friendly bartender. Neither one of us are big beer drinkers but if you are, this is the place to come. They had an extensive list of beers, both on tap and in bottles.
Eddie's has a great menu with variety - not too big, which is appreciated. Everyone at the bar had burgers so we followed suit and ordered a Johnny burger to split, along with fries and fried zucchini spears. The burger was amazing; perfectly cooked and perfectly topped. It's weird, I noticed how good the bun was; it was hearty and held everything together very well. Their regular fries were crispy and lightly salted. The zucchini spears weren't my favorite, I thought they were heavily breaded. Zucchini is hard to do tho, they're typically pretty bland and fragile. The ranch they were served with was delicious, though =)
They only had two people working; one bartending and one cooking. They were both extremely friendly and efficient - everyone had refills and food quickly. It's not the biggest place but I enjoyed their décor and the fact that they had pull-tabs. Everything was really clean too, bonus!
