  • When you are looking for a ceiling fan, and don't really want to try one of the big box stores, where do you go? Well, a place called FanCo is probably a good start. We actually found FanCo as we were driving to Lowe's. What we found was a store full of ceiling fans, and assorted lights and chandeliers. We also found a very helpful staff person that wasn't pushy, and was very knowledgeable about their products. That is what I like about specialty stores, none of the "I don't know, I just work here" mentality that you can get at Lowe's or HD. If you are looking for cheap fans and lights, this probably isn't your store, but if you are looking for quality and a good price, you can find what you need here. From what I could tell from the store, and a little online research, the fan quality here is above what you would find at the big boxes. Additionally, there was a lot for sale, and you could probably negotiate on prices if you were buying a lot of fans/lights. We will definitely stop by the FanCo again, if not for their selection and also their service.
