Just wanted to say that the Simba Safari Lodge in the African Savannah uses a real chicken breast fillet (seemed to be steamed) in their chicken bacon club sandwich. Also it's on a burger bun which was not what I was expecting. Tasty though expensive for what it is (as are all the food options there). There is a bar here though! And the zoo allows you to eat the food you brought from home at the tables (there's more picnic-y green space nearby too) which is pretty cool.
My other comments echo other reviews... it's huge so come prepared to walk/with food&drink/sunscreen, come early to get some decent parking (10:30am and we were still in the first lot, albeit far in section C), buy tickets ahead of time if you can because we spent 40 minutes waiting and that was not a fun way to start the day.
