  • I was just contacted by this company after applying for a position on Craigslist. After going through the job requirements and the pay range, she mentioned that they were a private hiring agency. Thinking it was like AppleOne she quickly explained why that isn't the case. Not only do they expect 65% of your first months wages, they want your bank account information to be able to withdraw from 4 checks. And once they find you employment they want $100 good faith deposit before you can start work. All in all I think that this is a scam because no temp, perm or direct hire company would charge the person looking for work AND request all your banking information. Please before doing anything with this company think first the repercussion of what may happen after they attain that sensitive information.
