  • I actually found this place on Yelp. I was looking for a vet in the neighbourhood (I have a new kitten!) and I have little to no experience with vets. The vet that is closest to my place has horrible reviews, so I made an appointment here instead. I was worried, as I'd heard horror stories about high vet bills and un-necessary procedures +I got an appointment RIGHT away, less than 45 minutes after I called. My kitten was having a medical issue that I wanted looked at right away. They were completely understanding and got her in immediately. + They had excellent service. There was a client with an issue when I was there (an issue around an appointment time) that I felt was rude, and I was incredibly impressed with the way that it was handled. + They took the time to explain everything to me. The vet (Dr Ma, I would recommend her) asked me more than once if I had questions, and was thorough in her explanations. She made sure to clearly explain and ask permission for procedures done to my kitten, and made sure that I was clear on what they were doing and why. + The male receptionist (not sure if that's the right title? I know he works with animals as well) was amazing and explained every single charge on the bill to me. I was comfortable with what I paid (it was expensive, as vets are, from what I have researched, but I do not feel ripped off or cheated in any way). He was also thorough both on the phone and in person in alleviating my fears in my kitten's health, and made me feel welcome. + They are excellent at follow up, and both email and call about upcoming appointments. + They explained to me, and showed me, exactly how to give my kitten her medication, and made sure I understood everything. I would highly recommend this vet if you are in the neighbourhood. The office is small, but I feel that makes it personal- I have not yet met a staff member I did not like. Everyone was extremely kind and nice to myself and my new kitten! Very, very impressed.
