Buffets have become synonymous with Las Vegas. And for us, no visit to 'sin city' is complete without at least trying one buffet. The last time I had the Wicked Spoon buffet was about 3 years ago. Back then it was brand spanking new and $32/pp for dinner.
Now, the dinner buffet is $47/pp and the food is not as good as I remember. For me, the best part of the buffet was the salads and gelato bar. Sadly, the fried chicken, sushi, and seafood items (crab legs, shrimp, octopus, salmon) were a complete miss. The only hot dish I enjoyed was the shepard's pie because it reminded me of school lunch (in a good way).
Maybe I went on an off day. Or perhaps Wicked Spoon is over-hyped and become just like all the other buffets in LV. Either way, I don't think I'll return.
