| - Closeness...my favorite thing about this hotel.
Parking lot close to hotel entry. No need to walk 5-10 minutes through a hotel/casino, then find the car in a "Seinfeld" like gargantuan garage. No valet to call, then tip.
Rooms close to elevator & entry. The time from leaving your room to leaving the hotel is no longer than 3-5 minutes. No long winding corridors.
Hotel close to the Strip. We always walked to & from the Strip. Took no longer than 5-10 minutes to walk to Crystal Shopping Center, Aria, Cosmopolitan, etc.
Our room had a nice view of the MGM Signature Towers & pools, & the Spring Mountains. While the rooms are clean & adequate, the decor is moderate budget hotel.
The kitchen was a necessity since I do not like to eat in restaurants 2-3 times daily. The kitchen made up for the small workout room & the small pool being closed for winter. There was free WIFI & a business center for printing.
Service was a little inconsistent. Some staff people were friendlier than others. We were not contacted by time share people. While I did not use their services, I noticed many people using Concierge service to arrange tours, shows, etc.
The only negative I remember were loud conversations in the hallway around 7am. They occurred almost every morning. Sometimes it seemed to be the neighbors, other times the maintenance/cleaning staff. Either way it was annoying since I generally awake around 8am.
The hotel does not have a casino. On the top floor a former restaurant space is now vacant.
Due to the good location, kitchen, & reasonable rates I would return.
