  • Where to find good Chinese places in LV w/o the casino/strip noise? It used to be hard getting away from those all you can eat buffets in the hotels, but now that there is a small chinatown away from the main strip-- it is easier to find other dining options esp. if you're in the mood for some asian eats. Sam Woo has been around for awhile and they have many locations all around SoCal as well. Decent quick dishes for reasonable prices in pricey Vega$. Not the best we've had, but they always seem busy. Lots of other choices in this Asian plaza with the Ranch 99 market. This is the 1st place I ate at while exploring this area. Rice plates, noodles(chow mein/fun), take out(siu yea) are all available. **cash only place$
