  • These people maintain a very unethical business model. They treat the paying public as the enemy and will resort to lies, saccharin sweetness, sarcasm, and belittlement to intimidate and manipulate the customer. We unfortunately did not check out the Arizona Better Business site or Yelp before renting from them. Had we done this we would certainly not have done business with them. I would suggest that anyone seeking to do business with this operation first read very closely all of the Yelp reviews and the two complaints received within the last twelve months available on the AZ Better Business Bureau web site. The #4 rating on the BBB site is shockingly misleading. Please take the time to investigate thoroughly before committing to doing business with this company. We are campers of 35 years. For the better part of those years we traveled with our own unit. However, in recent years we have traveled greater distances from home and thought flying to our destination and renting an RV might be a better use of vacation time. A few years back we rented in Alaska. Although we lost a day due to the need for very extensive front end repairs to the rental (fortunately identified before we left the rental city), the business was outstanding in the timeliness and thoroughness of those repairs and in compensating us with a loaned auto and meal vouchers while the repairs were being done. Our experience with the rental of a very similar unit from RV Back Roads was completely different. It was so very negative that we will do our very best to avoid future RV rentals, especially as out-of-owners.
