  • I have been meaning to post this for a few months now. I was in the market for a 2012 Infiniti QX56 and was shopping around. Scottsdale Infiniti ended up having a used 2011 that they were pushing and it had everything I wanted so I was considering. I really wanted new but they weren't doing anything on the price. The sales manager (he said his dad owned the dealer) lowered the price a little on the used one and I told him I was going to think about it for a day. He told me to put down a $1000 deposit and said it was totally refundable if I changed my mind but he needed that to hold it. I agreed and put the $1000 on my credit card. Good thing I used my credit card. I ended up getted a really good deal on the 2012 QX I was looking for from Camelback Infiniti and I called back and spoke to my sales rep and politely explained that I changed my mind and went with a new one and asked for them to credit back the $1000 deposit. He said he would take care of it. I waited a week and nothing came through and called back and spoke to the sales manager (the guy whose dad supposedly owned the dealership) and he said he would take care of it. A week went by and still nothing. I called back, spoke to the sales manager again and he said he heard I went to Camelback and bought a new truck. I told him that was correct and said they gave me the deal you said was not possible. He then said it was too late in the day for him to look into the refund and to call back in the morning to remind him. I said no thanks and just disputed the charge with my credit card company. On a side note. Many of the things they wanted to charge me for on the new 2012 QX at Scottsdale Infiniti were included in the price at Camelback Infiniti. Tinted windows, nitrogen filled tires, 2 years free maintenance, etc. Go to any dealer except Scottsdale. If I can cost them one deal with this post I will feal better for what they did to me. Brent at Camelback Infiniti was a great sales rep. I highly reccomend both him and Shelby in the service dept.
