| - Hands down, the worst experience I have ever had with getting a haircut. I live between two Great Clips of about equal distance so I alternate back and forth. The notes are the same, as I get the same boring, and very easy haircut. I have been getting the same cut since about 2009. Yesterday, I knew I was in trouble when I had to explain 3-4 times what the notes meant before the guy even started. I understand that new people start, but they need to have their skills tested before hacking up customers. The guy just couldn't understand what I was telling him, it was a joke. Other stylists could see what was going on, and one even tried to come over and help. I think that others seeing how bad he was doing and not intervening made the situation worse.
I finally just told him to stop, I couldn't take any more. I will get it fixed elsewhere. He really didn't understand he was doing so bad. The same girl that tried to help came and told him to apologize to me and offer me some product. He made some half assed apology, truly not understanding there was an issue, and then offered 50% off one little bottle of shampoo. He also couldn't figure out how to ring me out. I just gave money and left, again, there was no way I was waiting around there any longer. Too bad, I usually get really good treatment here, but I won't ever go back now.
