  • Wish I could give 3.5 stars. Anyway, after much review reading from Yelp, the fiance and I decided to give it a shot, as we were tired of all the Asian food we eat. :) Atmosphere and decor is alright. It's not too fitting since it's attached to a bar. The restaurant isn't too big, and it wasn't incredibly busy either. Our servers name was Iris, a very nice lady who seemed very knowledgeable about the menu and how the items were prepared. She was the only server working though, and it showed, She was very busy with the 7 tables at once and we overheard her apologize to every table about their waits. We had to wait awhile to order, however we did not mind too much. Fast forward to the food. For our appetizer, we ordered the beef nachos. It was pretty disappointing. I appreciate that the chips are fried to order, however it seemed very unnecessary. We had very little toppings, a few scraps of meat, and the cheese was glued to all the chips. It wasn't too "stringy", it just seemed like the dish was sitting under the heat lamp too long. Our entrees were alright too. I had the crispy chicken sandwich w/fries and a broccoli cream soup. The chicken wasn't as crispy, and the buffalo sauce seemed a bit off. The soup was bland however the presentation was beautiful. The fries are AMAZING. My fiance ordered the Chicken Angelina, a chicken breast in garlic-spinach mashed potatoes with dijon mustard sauce. It was pretty decent, no complaints. The service was a little slow, and the chef came out and spoke to everyone about their meals and asked how everything was. It was very neat to see a chef come out and greet the customers, one of the reasons why this is a three star review. Overall, we appreciate the effort of the chef. Our food is decent and the service was friendly but slow. There are just too many other places in the valley to justify us returning. Best of luck though, the chef is a nice guy.
