I don't even know where to begin.
Look through all photos! Business owner constantly uploads repeat photos to wash out the actual consumer photos. Wish I would have seen the sketchy pedicures before going here.
The good:
- Clean, new tools were used
- The citrus used in the pedicure was a cool, different element
- Staff and techs were very friendly
The bad:
- Had to tell the receptionist 3 times that we wanted nails AND pedicure
- We spent an hour and a half in the salon. (Short wait time getting into the pedi chair) We were there for a pedicure and dip powder manicure. We waited so long after our pedicure (over 30 mins) that we just ended up leaving.
- Nail techs just walked away and started on other clients after pedicure without saying anything. We didn't know if they realized we were also there for nails or if they were coming back or what.
- Severely understaffed for what a Saturday at any nail salon requires. 4 nail techs with 9 people in the waiting area at one point?!
- The edges of my paint look tore up with dried skin
- Callus remover did nothing for me (I always leave my local salon with smooth skin, but it's as if I never had the treatment this time)
- My friend's toes look nothing like what she showed in her picture (which was a simple nude nail with silver "half moon" on one nail.)
- Charged a fee for removal of gel from toes (Maybe this is standard in some places? I've never paid for removal and have had gel toes for years)
-The nail tech had the file turned up to the highest speed and continued to burn into my skin after repeatedly exclaiming "ow!" She turned the speed down on the 2nd to last toe.
