My husband was in a car accident earlier this week. He declined an ambulance and I drove him to the ER. He was complaining of back pain, neck pain and his hand was hurting. He was put on fast track and was brought back almost right away. The lady filling out his paperwork was very nice. As we waited for the X-ray machine a nurse came by looking for someone named Richard. We joked saying we could be Richard if it meant we get the X-ray faster. From then on every time we saw her she would say "hi richard" and we would laugh. She was lightening the mood which was really nice. The man doing the X-ray was joking with us as well during the whole thing. It was nice to be around so many people who really seemed to enjoy their job. Everyone was positive but quick. We were out of there with a prescription in no time so he could go home and relax. Thank you all so much. I'm happy to know this great hospital is just down the street.
