rev:text	When I came in the first time in 2011 there was another long time employee there that helped me out. I was interested in another green cheek conure for my other bird and they had just gotten a clutch of them in that were going through their hand feedings. I was involved with that bird up to 3 times a week spending time with her until she was ready to go home. The store practices sanitation rituals that are for the benefit of your existing birds or the ones in the store. You do need "wash" your hands from bird to bird that you handle but they have foam dispensers all over the place. Whenever I visit I handle many birds in the store, along with Humphrey, a moody quaker that is a bit of a store mascot. They will tell it to you straight here. They have declined business if they don't feel that it's right for the birds. It's not like (INSERT "COMPETITOR" FROM DOBSON/SOUTHERN) and they really try to care for the bird's well being and not just flipping profit, but yes, profits are nice. I felt a bit of hesitancy towards me from one of the owners originally but I have continued business, buying supplies, getting ANOTHER green cheek conure from them and the toys are priced decently with a good selection under $5 towards the front of the store. They've answered my questions, greeted me when I came in, talked about upcoming bird marts... I like the atmosphere. There aren't many options in the valley for specialty bird stores. They provide boarding for birds and grooming services and the boarded birds are not to be handled by customers.
