I have visited this business since 2010. I rarely had a bad experience at this location. However, Fantastic Sam's customer service and the services the offer has declined, sadly.
I was at the Glendale location near 59th avenue and northern. When I first walked in ALL of the employees were sitting down. I waited about 5 minutes and no one ever acknowledged me. I went next door to get a pedicure. I went back to fantastic Sam's and was greeted, finally. I was there to get my eyebrows waxed, as I always do.
The woman that waxed my eyebrows was so nice and we had a very pleasant conversation. My session was over after 20 minutes. I was given a mirror to look at my eyebrows, keep in mind my eyes were closed for 20 minutes and did not adjust well. They looked ok at the time. The lady said she put some lavender oil on my eyebrows to help with the redness. I have never been told that before there. That should have been a red flag. I paid and left. About an hour later I finally took a look in the mirror because my skin was very irritated and burning. I had skin missing! This was the Wednesday before thanksgiving, I was so devastated. Then one of my eyebrows was noticeably thinner than the other. Hair was missing from the corner of my inner brow. She messed up the shape. I went back to ask to speak to the manager, but she wouldn't be back for 5 days!!! The lady that did my eyebrows was gone. So the lady there at the time had poor customer service skills. She was not acknowledging what happened at all. She was so rude. I explained what happened and ahe said "oh ok". She also said there's nothing she can do. I really just wanted her to say "I'm sorry that happened. Please call my manager on Monday and maybe she can help." I knew I would get no where with her or the company. All I wanted was my money back. I had to take pictures the next day and I was humiliated.
I hope they work on their customer service skills.
I will not go back to this location and I will tell everyone I know about my experience.
