  • this place is a joke and not a medical facility and really not even a spa. I could have gotten better advice and products from the makeup counter at Macy's. This is a facility for rich ladies of Shadyside that have more money than brains. I went in for to see about Lazer treatment of age spots. i was seen by a life size Bratt Doll who highlighted a couple things on a standard printout clearly given to every patient. if Dr. Bumgarten is truly a doctor, I'm shocked and she is doing an excellent job of hiding her I intelligence through her demeanor and unprofessional dress. she didn't bother talking to me about what I came for, advised to use several incredibly expensive useless products to which I had a severe allergic reaction even though I told her repeatedly I am often alleric. she's supposed to be a dermatologist right? joke. $500 later, skin looks worse than ever, bad reaction, out a ton of money and problem not even addressed!! basically $400 porcelaina. exact same chemical. save your money. when I checked out, the repectionist had no idea what I was supposed to get, gave me one wrong product, didn't give me to other and did not bither to call in th rx for retina A. clear lack of communication and follow through in the office. I'd give the zero stars but it's not an option. Unbelievable upmc wants their name on this. easy money I guess.
