| - My only regret is taking so long to post this review.
Ever walk into a place and feel like; "This is it, this is my spot." - that about sums up your appointment experience at LXVE.
It is nigh impossible to find a shop where the folks are personable, professional, and have the skill set to deliver the services you are looking for; in Jose S. you'll find all three.
I've been in Las Vegas for a few years no, and at every barber shop I visited, I've found my experiences varying from mediocre to flat out terrible. I've been to places where I've almost felt I was intruding, at places where I've been charged $35 for shoddy work, and dirty places that felt cramped and had long wait times.
None of these apply to LXVE, from the onset you're welcomed in, offered a beverage, and included in any conversation going on - you're not even in the chair yet.
Once in the chair you're asked what you're looking to have done, Jose goes over what he's going to do to get you there and nothing happens without you being informed of what's next.
When it's all over, you've more than likely paid for your services already, as LXVE is by appointment only and you're given the option to pay ahead of time when confirming your Day/Time of appointment. This earned LXVE even more points in my book for two reasons:
1. You get the payment out of the way getting what I feel is the most awkward step of a visit out of the way. (You have the option to pay a tip beforehand or at the time of checkout, tip well folks, these guys work hard)
2. You show up, you're seen; no sitting around in a barber shop reading your phone or months old magazines.
Oh, and that brings me to the studio itself, how they manage to make a barber studio feel like your cool cousin's tastefully decorated living room is beyond me;
Couch - Check
Coffee Table - Check
Flat Screen TV / Booming System - Check
Fully stocked Fridge - Check
Elbow Room and Space to move around - Check and double check.
Needless to say, I'll be frequenting LXVE Studios for the foreseeable future.
TL;DR version -GO HERE!!! If you need a haircut and don't stop by this studio; Congratulations, You Played Yourself.
