| - THIS REVIEW COMES WITH A FUNNY STORY. (But it's still relevant to this review so don't worry)
A great hole in the wall coffee shop that offers delicious Cuban breakfast meals, sandwhiches, sweets, and a variety of coffee. I ordered the Arepa Benny $10 (which seems pretty popular via Yelp) and a Honey Vanilla Latte $5.50. The Benny was amaaaazing! The yolk broke perfectly and their hollandaise was delicious. The latte was also equally delicious. It was actually reccommended by our server.
Okay here's my funny story:
When you walk into Makers & Finders there is (or should I say was) a wooden bench that's connected to the entire right side of the wall. Those seats are obviously intended for 2 people parties. Well anyway... my cousin and I have already been seated and eating for a good 30 mins, then a group of 2 men sat at the table next to us; 1 guy on the chair and 1 on the bench. A couple minutes after that, a friend of theirs walks through the door and sits next to the guy on the bench. At that moment I hear a loud "crrraaaccckk" and instantly think "This sh** is about to break." Then literally seconds after that, a woman they knew walks up to the second man on the bench and hugs him. Right when she goes in for the hug and puts her weight onto him the whole entire bench disconnects from the wall. True story. No one fell onto the floor or got hurt or anything, but the fact that the bench detatches itself from their concrete wall is pretty insane lol. The staff and the owner were extremely apologetic and kept making sure everyone was okay. My cousin and I actually got free dessert out of it lol. But the reason why I wanted to add that story in is because, although I had a near death experience (jk), I'm still giving them a 5 star rating lol. And THAT, ladies and gentleman, is how great their food, coffee, and service was! ... Just not their bench.
