  • Stopped in for lunch today with high hopes. My husband & I have been wanting to check this place out. We started out with the chips & dip. It was just okay, the dip to me tasted like french onion soup mix and the chips (while made in house) were somewhat bland. For lunch, I ordered the green mac & cheese and my husband had the chicken firebread. Our entrees took about 40 minutes even though they seemed to be quite slow. Not one to give up on a place when they may just be having a bad day I was hoping that I'd be impressed enough with our meals to return. That was not the case. My mac & cheese was good, but was cold when it got to the table. If I'm waiting 40 minutes for a meal it should be hot when it arrives. It was something I'd try again, but since we won't be going back I guess I'll have to find my mac & cheese elsewhere. Besides also being cold, my husband's firebread HAD A HAIR IN IT! Definitely not okay. When we informed our waitress she didn't seem fazed, she simply offered to get him something else. When he told her he didn't want to wait another 40 minutes she rudely replied that she had coursed our meal out & didn't have them fire the entrĂ©es until we were done with our appetizer. Which would have been fine if true, but it took us maybe 10 minutes to eat our chips & dip. So I doubt our entrĂ©es took 30 minutes. Overall we were severely disappointed & won't be back. Seems like a cool place to drink though...
