  • I live right down the street from this place so when i got a coupon for an oil change me and my fiancee both took our cars down to get them changed... they took her car first and then immediately came back with this saaddd long puppy dog face.... **big sigh** "we can't change your oil"... apparently the drain plug was "stuck"... ok what are our options? they told us they could force it out ... but then we'd have to pay $250 for a new drain plug... BUT... if during the force out ... it ruins the oil pan ... then it'd be $1,200 for a new one... i was like hells no. i said my dad will do it. . . the next day my dad and i climbed under this car and with absolutely NO EXAGGERATION a wrench and 2 gently taps with a hammer and that drain plug came loose and oil starting dumping into the pan... absolutely ridiculous... now I will share that 2 yrs ago i came to this same location for an oil change and they told me i had a blown head gasket... the mechanic tried to show me where the leak was and told me it was $2,500 to fix it... now i knew i had a leak in the car so when they offered a free diagnostic check i was like SURRREEEE.... needless to say i left there and googled... and really LOOKED under my hood and found what was actually leaking... i had a bad heater core elbow... now I am not a mechanic... but I can research... a cheap oil change is good... but never take advice from these people... after these 2 instances... i will never be back... too bad because it's so close... but I'd rather drive miles out of the way and get reliable...knowledgeable and or TRUSTWORTHY mechanics.. than a place that takes advantage of people.
