Yay! I'm a fan.
I just got back from a great Gorillaz concert, and since my ears are still ringing and my throat still scratchy, I thought I'd type up a quick review of Dodge Theatre (now known as Comerica Theatre).
It was my first time at this theatre, and I thought it was a great venue! My friend and I had seats at the club level at section 202; from where we were, we had a great view of the entire stage, and the acoustics were excellent. Also, the staff was friendly and great at directing traffic.
The only downside was the price of drinks. $12 for a 24oz Heineken! Yikes! I guess that's why they (the evil corporation) pays me (the corporate drone) the big bucks (yeah right). Okay...so I could have shelled out just $10 for a 24oz Bud Light, but let's be real here...I wanted a beer damnit. Next time, I'll do a little pre-partying at a bar nearby, and so should you.
I'm definitely looking forward to coming back for another rock-your-brainz-out concert here. Radiohead, please? Please? PLEASE?

PS Kudos to the Gorillaz and Live Nation for allowing cameras. Boodos to my phone's battery for only letting me record approximately an hour of our amazing tour through the world of the plastic beach.
