Now this was a meal.
Between the wine, the steak, the gambling before and after, it all makes for an awesome experience.
I have to start with the wine. I ordered a $200 magnum bottle of Frogs Leap which was very reasonably priced. When the sommelier came by and started opening the wine he actually freaked me out. He started pouring a little bit of wine into each glass just to coat it, decanted the rest, and basically treated it as if it were a $1300 bottle of Chateau Margaux. Mid-way through his process I stopped him to double check that I hadn't accidentally ordered the next wine on the list (some $900 bottle) as I was not paying for the meal but was given the honor of choosing the wine. He laughed and actually thanked me saying that I had given him the nicest compliment of the night.
From there on out, the rest of the meal was wonderful. The steak (Bone-in Filey) was beyond phenomenal as were all the wonderful side dishes. Some people in our party ordered the wagyu beef, but honestly the regular cuts the have are just so wonderful.
Only reason it gets 4 stars : the ambiance is much to dark and dim for Vegas. The Cut in LA is much brighter and livelier and it gets 5 Stars.
