This place has tons of history, but also smells like it... We walked in and there was a very strong smell of cigarette smoke. I know that it's Vegas, and the casinos smell of smoke, but this was incredibly strong and no one was currently smoking. It was surprisingly busy and loud for a weekday afternoon -- perhaps it was the happy hour crowd? Because the bar was crowded, the bartenders weren't particularly attentive.
They have a small menu of specialty cocktails. I ordered one with strawberries that tasted good, but didn't particularly taste like it had alcohol in it, and my friend ordered something with apple cider that definitely delivered on the apple front. Very strong apple flavoring.
The decor has a vintage feel to it, although we didn't venture in far enough to sit at a booth. While I think that it's really neat that the bar has so much history and has managed to preserve much of it, I might have been able to enjoy it a bit more if I was able to breathe while inside, or perhaps on an evening when the outdoor patio area is open (and can breath a bit more easily outside).
