All I can say is WOW....
I had to take my mother to the ER earlier this week. You may think that when you head to an ER in a major city, you'd at least be placed in a bed while you wait...especially when complaining of back and spine discomfort, and shortness of breath. But, no....not here. Apparently Lazy Boy had a sale on overstocked recliners...they cram THREE into a room in this ER, separated by a few dirty sheets they must have picked up at Savers.
Here, you wait - three deep in a very small room - for the ER doctor to examine you....in an EZ Chair. All these perks and they have the nerve to charge your insurance thousands for the pleasure.
After a tech tried to insert an IV into my mother's arm three times - causing the vein to burst and leaving her with a giant black-n-blue welt, the nurse took over and secured it in her hand. They threw some pain meds at her and sent her on her way...while we sat there for four hours in filth.
...and they can't figure out why people die of Staph infections in hospitals? REALLY?? One can only ponder what you'd find with a black light. This place was disgusting!
