  • Select Appliance sells quality appliances with minor dings and scratches for prices substantially below MSRP. I just had my second experience with Select Appliance. When we needed to replace our washer and dryer we went to them and purchased a matched set made by LG. We found them to be extremely helpful and responsive and were very pleased with the value and service. We have been very pleased with the units. So when our electric range died (sigh), they were my first thought. We had been pleased with the LG appliances already purchased, so by way of comparison shopping I checked out a unit at our local Home Depot. Select Appliance had the same unit as Home Depot, but at 25% less and also charged less for delivery and installation. The "damage" to the unit we purchased is barely noticeable ... I had to point it out to my wife when they delivered the unit. Also, Home Depot could not deliver and install until 5 days later, while Select Appliance delivered the next day, which saved us the trouble and expense of eating out for a few days. Further, their installer encountered major problems in getting out the old unit, an old GE range with microwave over the range which was wedged into the cabinetry above and grouted into the tile below. A major hassle which he solved with good humor and ingenuity.
