New Chinese bakery near Elm and Yonge!
It's clean and nice inside with sitting area by the beautiful original arch window and there's additional sitting upstairs.
The buns are by no means cheap (you won't find that China town bakery price here i.e. 3 for $1). Each bun costs ~$1.50 because they use natural ingredients (no preservatives, artificial colour/flavour/no-food chemical added). People, you get what you pay for.. the buns are much better than the ones from China town!
I got BBQ pork, pineapple, pineapple with red bean filling and coconut buns. Buns with fillings were jam packed with goodies and the fillings are well distributed so you will def. get enough filling from each bite which is totally awesome. As for BBQ pork bun, none of that $hitty fatty crappy filling in there. I thoroughly enjoyed that real edible porky goodness :P
They individually seal the bun and put the buns in a nice recyclable paper bag (bonus green points for that).
Oh, don't forget to use your Vicinity rewards card here! (or get one from here which is what I did).
I am going back to try their cake (looked really good and reasonably price at ~$4-6/slice) and coffee.
