| - My mom and I were customers here for about 5 years or so. And i weight heavily on the "were". Today I experienced one of the most frustrating moments thanks to the disorganized scheduling system.
I'm coming from Washington state to have a trial run for wedding hair and make up. My mom helped me tremendously by scheduling my appointment with the salon, however they initially gave her a morning appointment for make up and hair in the afternoon. But then they helped by making it one appointment at 4:30. Mom went in personally to make sure we got the right times, they even gave her a card with the appointment and, according to the manager, we could arrive around 4:40.
The appointment time came but we were running late. I called to give them a heads up but they put me in a long hold. When we got there, they told us our appointment was at 4pm and we were late. Mom reminded them they gave her a 4:30 appointment, but they were not able to give us the full appointment. According to the manager, they only had one make up stylist and they have to be on the floor. If they took me in, they were taking off their only person from the floor. There was only ONE client in the entire salon and there were already being serviced. Not only was the manager and the stylist having a conversation in front of us about how she would not be able to assist us, but then the manager scoffed at my mom for being late. When she asked if we still wanted the hair appointment, I immediately told them we are cancelling it and walked out.
The fact that they could not schedule a hair and make up appointment together and then give the wrong appointment time is far from an organized business, but the fact that a manager scoffs at customers versus taking into consideration the travel that it took and the appointment rescheduling attempts to work with their schedule versus the clients is a disrespect to clients who are willing to give them service. Not only did they make us feel like we were the inconvenience, but they didn't even bother to remember how far customers were coming from and constant scheduling issues.
This was our last time at this business.
