I called the iPhone Doctor at the Decatur and Cactus location to ask if they can repair Android phones (Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge), the guy on the other line said yes. He asked what happened to the phone, and so I told him that the phone won't turn on nor charge anymore as it was dropped in the water. The guy said that it will be $35 to start and explained to me that he can't guarantee the phone will be fixed, and that there's only a 50/50 chance as it depends on how damaged it is. I told him that it's fine and that we're on the way to the shop to drop the phone off. When we got there, he asked for our contact number where he can call us once the phone is fixed or if he finds out that he can't fix the phone. We asked him when should we expect his call. He said either later that day since he's going to try to open the phone on that day, but most probably the next day. That was on a Thursday June 28th. It was already Saturday June 30th and we still haven't received a call from him, so we decided to visit the shop instead. When we got there, he told us that he can't do anything to make it work and that he tried to change the battery but it still won't work. We wondered if he even tried to fix the motherboard or just tried to use a different battery. So we said it's fine and if we could just get our phone back. He told us that we have to come back in 30 minutes so that he can get it all back together. He showed us our phone when we were in there and all the parts were intact except for the back cover, I'm not a phone expert but I don't think that it takes that long just to put the cover back. For all we knew, he was just messing around with his two friends that were in the shop too. We should have read the reviews online first before bringing our phone.
