| - I am providing this hotel this rating because of the lack of customer service, not because of our stay (which we didn't have). We booked our night through Booking.com because we we were going to drive from FL to OH and stop halfway, however we didn't end up leaving on time so we decided to stay a little further south and make a longer drive the next day. We had the option to cancel our res up until 6pm the night of the reservation, so we did just that. Everything was fine until we were charged for the room the next day. My husband called the hotel as soon as we saw the charge and spoke with a woman at the front desk, who said she couldn't help us because a manager had to make the call to credit us back. He left our contact info and we were told we'd hear back the next day. We didn't. We waited several days and never received a call, so I called again and got someone who claimed it was her first night on the job, and couldn't help us, so we once again needed the manager. Well, shockingly the manager yet again wasn't available, so we asked when she would be and she said later that day, so we said we'd call back. We did, and (wait for it) we had JUST missed the manager - she just stepped out. At this point we were livid and giving this poor woman an earful of how absurd this all was. Meanwhile, we're in contact with Booking.com who said they would also contact the hotel, and no further action was needed from us. Well, as you may have guessed no one from there could reach anyone with authority at the hotel either, so after THREE WEEKS of going back and forth with Booking, they finally agreed to reimburse us for our room since Quality Inn was completely unresponsive. I can't comprehend what could have possibly made this manager (who I believe is named "Silver" or something similar) avoid us AND Booking.com, their partner, but obviously this particular hotel has no customer service capabilities and literally doesn't care about their patrons. Needless to say we will never stay at this hotel, and will always caution people who do to make sure you are 100% sure you're staying the night, otherwise you will be charged anyway and never be reimbursed.
