| - DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM. I joined the Gym in March 2017, and cancelled my membership by April. All the personal trainers that were employed at that time have now left the business and sought employment elsewhere. I personally cancelled my membership in April, and now it is September 2017 and they refuse to stop charging my card. Every single month I have to call back and cancel membership, get a refund, and a shitty conversation with terrible customer service, only to have THE SAME CONVERSATION THE NEXT MONTH. I HAVE CANCELLED MY MEMBERSHIP 6 TIMES, in writing and on the phone, to corporate, to the gym itself, and they refuse to stop charging me $64.99 every single month. I have to block the transaction through my bank, and I am still getting emails from Smart Gym that my payment is due, and even pushy phone calls asking for money SIX MONTHS AFTER I CANCELLED MY MEMBERSHIP. This Gym does not live up to it's name. They wouldn't even refund my May charge, even though I cancelled in April, and they continue to attempt to charge me. DO NOT BECOME A MEMBER BECAUSE THEY WILL NOT STOP CHARGING YOUR CARD LONG AFTER YOU LEAVE THE GYM, AND THEY WILL HARASS YOU WITH PHONE CALLS AND EMAILS ASKING FOR MONEY AFTER YOU HAVE REVOKED PERMISSION TO USE YOUR DEBIT/CREDIT CARD.
