I was staying at the William Penn Hotel for the Geological Society of America conference where I was presenting research. I stopped at The Tap Room Twice with a colleague for lunch and was impressed with the food. I enjoyed their signature grilled Chicken sandwich with Applewood Smoked Bacon, Fontina cheese, Arugula and Basil Aioli on Toasted Olive Bread, which was absolutely delicious. The chicken had a perfect sear and was very moist, with the rest of the ingredients of the highest quality. I gave my compliments to the chef for making a lunch sandwich a gourmet sandwich successfully. The dining room was beautiful, as was the rest of the hotel and the service was excellent. Despite the high price tag for eating there, I will definitely return the next time I am in town.
