  • I'm starting to suspect it's a running joke to misspell "Rouge". We moved into the area recently. I love Rouge Beach and the entire stretch of the Port Union Waterfront Park--and beyond if you cross the bridge over the river into Pickering. It's particularly spectacular in the summer. I love running and biking along it and up along the Highland Creek park. We'll be getting a canoe and stand-up paddleboards soon! There's lots to see and do! Rumour has it that there are city plans to extend the waterfront pathway all the way to Guildwood. first, and then to Bluffers Park beyond that. That would be spectacular!
