Pearl Jam -KILLED!!
The beverage service not so much. Thankfully ate before the show so did not have to sample the offerings. Upon entering the venue and hitting a concession stand to grad a coupla brews was disappointed to see 1 of 4 draft towers working and about as many people. The line was long and moved on to another stand. Same situation. Bottle beer kiosks were not an option as its lines were equally as long if not longer. Next stand, BETTER, oh wait... only Bud Light and wait it's foamy. $10.00 for half a cup of foam? No thanks. NEXT! SCORE!! Two taps (of four) working and the line is moving! Grab four head to the 200 level. 'Bout 9pm head back for a cupala more. Concession stand has no line and no beer. Cups are on the taps and a kid with an ice bucket is running a tap with nothing but foam. Took the bullet and stood in line at the bottle beer kiosk. 20 minutes and the line was progressing (&getting longer) and not a soul at the two concession stands. Finally got some beers and headed back to the show. Glad PJ was on for almost three hours with the lesson learned, nursed the final beer.
I understand that the service has no idea how to handle a large crowd with the Bobcats and all but, the bigger acts like the Checkers should give them a good idea how to handle the 30something crowd reliving their youth, (thankfully not regretting it the next day due to the lack of beverage, so I guess it was a good thing.) The venue has to buy/sell enough beverage for a distributor to have someone onsite to handle the draft system problems.
COME ON LEVY, it's not your first day.
