We've really only been for the Sunday Bluegrass Brunch, and it was great. The owners were so nice, they make all kinds of thoughtful concessions for little kids (like mini share platters and plastic dishes), the music isn't too loud, and there's lots of room. Very family friendly, and all you can eat shared platters.
I don't know why it's not busy (yet)... The breakfast-standard food is really no different from the Dakota (which is bananas) and it's way more spacious and relaxed.
As for the rest - it's a pool hall. So people who are down on that may have never been to an old one :) it's relaxed, a bit ghetto, and has cheap drinks and lovely neighborhood staff.
Pretty much all you'd ask for in this kinda place.
