We purchased our first home using Opendoor in Phoenix, AZ. All the repairs on our buyers "request to fix" were seemingly repaired. However within 2 months every *single* item became broken mysteriously again...
The pool light wasn't working upon inspection. It was repair to turn on. The second time we turned it on after closing it ceased to work again. $750 estimated repair.
The ceiling fan in our living room died during move in. This was a repair request.
The latch on our gate was "repaired" but fell off during move in.
The screens of our home were all scheduled to be replaced on the BINSER (I think it was called that?) This just wasn't done. Ever.
Opendoor has a great concept - however the people implementing the concept are not concerned with customer satisfaction whatsoever. They may respond to comments and state otherwise - but they workmanship and companies they contract with are the bottom of the barrel. This speaks much louder and truer than their "dedication to customer service" "openness to feedback" lines of bs that they respond to reviews with.
