  • Come here for the view, not so much the food! If you stay at the Stratosphere, why not give it a try. If not, nah~~~ NOTE: If you have the ace|PLAY red, green and orange memberships, you can get 10% discount for dinner. Location (4.5): The restaurant locates on the 106th floor of Stratosphere hotel. This is the second tallest tower in the west! This tower unfortunately is not near the Vegas strip. You can see the whole city in the restaurant since it spins 360 degree. Service (3): If you have a reservation, you can check in with the host downstairs before getting inside the elevator. If not, you may have to pay for tickets to visit the tower. Before going inside the elevator, they would check your phones, purses and coats to prevent you from carrying harmful things up the tower. Our waitor for the night was nice. He did what he had to do, but I wish he could be more lively! While dinning, there will be a photographer walking around to take photos for you. I appreciated the fact that she was being direct on what we should pose for the photos. That saved a lot of our thinking times! Later, she would come back and bring copies of the photos of you - $20/photo wallet with two small photos of your choices and $45/ picture frame with two large photos of your choices. If you want the digital version, $25 more! Food (2.5): They have the tasting menu $90/person if you are interested. It also comes with the optional $30 wine pairings. We went with the regular menu. We ordered the pork belly appetizer, their so-called well known lobster bisque, ribeye, a lack of lamp and a side of french fries. No worries if the french fries doesn't appear on the menu. Just ask for it if you want it :) Overall, the food was salty for our taste. If I was to be the chef, I would make the pork belly skin extra crispy to make the whole dish less fatty. I would also make the lobster bisque and the rest of the entrĂ©es less salty... OMG it was THAT salty!!!!! I mean throughout dinner, we saw a stand of dessert display and we were so excited! After trying the entrĂ©es, our hunger for the beautiful looking desserts vanished... Satisfaction factor (2.5): As much as trying food thousands feet up high and seeing people doing sky jumping outside the windows, the view itself was the only reason why we stayed... As for the food, no more thank you very much! If I was to come back, I would rather to go the 107th floor for coffee or tea while enjoying the beautiful view! So think twice before you dine here. With the price that they charge, you will find much more quality food down the middle of the strip!
