  • Being a competitive and professional figure skater since I was 5. I abused my body a lot with all the maneuvers a skater does. about 14 years ago my right hip started to really bother me. To the point that from being an extremely athletic individual; hiking, skating, skiing, etc. It was a challenge just to walk to the mail box. I went to several doctors had MRIs X-rays. Most said they couldn't find anything wrong. They could do exploratory surgery but I may not walk again. Then just a year ago, several people recommended Dr Crovetti. The moment i walked in and talked with him I knew he was the surgeon for me. He said to me while looking at the X-rays, "Did anyone ever tell you you had a bad hip?" and then said "We can fix this." Well I had my surgery 12 weeks ago. it went perfectly. I was walking with in two hours after my procedure. I went home the next day. With home therapy that they provided, I am better than I have been in a long time and it gets better every day. I can walk with out pain, I ride my bike, I take dance class, I even got back on the ice to the sport I love. I recommend Dr Covetti absolutely. He and his staff are full of compassion and knowledge to get you and your feet and going. His recovery center is amazing! As his slogan goes, I can again! As a patient I can testify this is true. He is the greatest!
