  • I just wouldn't ever again.... Here are the facts: -Signed contract to build with Mattamy in Tampa area on 7.15.1 -Was told permitting takes up to two months, house would be complete end of Dec early Jan -Heard nothing for two months -Arrived in Tampa on 9.13.15 and called sales rep to ask. The response was, "Oh wow, it has been two months, let me check...." -Told all was in order and should receive all permitting by 9.18.15 -At Design Center appointment on 9.17.15, new VP of Construction told us absolutely nothing had been done with permitting. We were at square 1 and looking at a March completion. -Was told we'd hear from President regarding accommodation for our extra rental and storage time + hassle factor of a million. -No call, ever, from anyone other than our sales rep. -Great real estate agent got our contract canceled and $10K US back -The lot we bought for a $10 K premium is now being sold with at $29 K premium. Buyer beware!!!!
